Upstairs, there’s a sumptuous saloon bar dripping with luxurious deep hues of velvet and a roof terrace where you can enjoy seasonal and classic cocktails created by the Suffield Arm’s very own mixologists. Behind the tapas bar guests can look out to the open plan kitchen where chefs prepare Tapas dishes predominantly from Spain. The restaurant host’s many larger sharing tables along with a marble tapas bar which spans across the entire restaurant. The Suffield Arms was built in the 19th century by Lord Suffield, who lived at nearby Gunton Hall, a close friend of the Prince of Wales and a major investor in the original East Norfolk Railway which built the line from Norwich to CromerĪs you enter the building you are greeted with a large and impressive bar area which is akin to a classic 19th century pub, with a roaring open fire and a large selection of local real ales.Īs you head further into the building you walk into a light and airy conservatory restaurant which overlooks a beautiful walled garden with lots of outside seating.
